Working Towards 100% Diversion from Landfill

Our commercial ethos is to divert as much material away from landfill as possible and to maximise the value of the materials collected without placing undue levels of resource commitment on our customers.

We were one of the first independent waste management companies to build our own Materials Recovery Facility (MRF). We now operate our own MRF at Bromborough, Wirral and Trafford Park, Manchester and work with like minded parties throughout the UK to offer our customers strong recovery.

On Site Segregation

As part of our ongoing drive to achieve 100% diversion, we encourage customers to segregate recyclates into separate containers for collection. This is to help our customers achieve the best possible recycling/recovery rates.

Our clients are committed to reducing their impact on the environment, and we are constantly searching for new and innovative ways to help them. B&M Waste Services is committed to recovering as much waste as possible by diversion from landfill.

Alternative Technologies

We are working with various recovery/recycling companies to ensure that where possible waste can avoid landfill by using greener, safer alternatives such as Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF).

Environmental Reports

B&M Waste Services can also provide you with a Quarterly Environmental Report. This will include the percentages of waste that have been recycled/recovered and converted to Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF).

The data in our environmental reports is verified by Carbon Footprint Ltd and is a direct appreciation of waste being diverted  from landfill. We represent the information by number of trees and car miles that are saved through carbon offsetting, to make it easy to understand.
